redslip reads a screenshot of a chat and prints a receipt. This page says what happens to what you give it. Short version: a simple sign-in, no ads, no tracking, and your screenshot is not kept.

Screenshots

When you print a receipt, the app shrinks the screenshot you picked and sends it, with the options you chose, to our server. Our server passes it to Google's Gemini API, which reads the chat and writes the receipt. We do not store the screenshot. We use Gemini as a paid service, under terms where Google does not use your content to train its models. Google may keep request data for a limited time to detect abuse, as its API terms allow.

The app only opens the photo you pick. It never reads the rest of your library.

What you type

The optional note ("what the screenshot doesn't show") and the answers to the optional questions go with the screenshot for the same analysis, and are not stored either.

The "Who's it for" label never leaves your phone. It is not sent to us and is never printed on a receipt.

Your receipts

Receipts you print are saved to your account so you can open them again on any phone. We keep the receipt itself (the flags, quotes, score and verdict), never the screenshot. Delete a receipt in the app any time; deleting your account deletes all of them.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email. We keep an account ID, how you signed in, your email address if you shared one (with Apple it can be a private relay address), and your scan count. That's it. We use the email only to sign you in, never for marketing. Sign-in codes are sent through our email provider, Resend.

Signing in keeps your free receipts and Plus with you, not with the phone.

To delete your account, go to Account, then Delete account in the app. We remove your account and scan count right away. So that deleting and signing up again doesn't refill the free receipts, we keep one thing: a one-way hash of how you signed in, with the number of free receipts you used. It can't be turned back into your email or ID. If you have Plus, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings too.

Payments

Purchases go through Apple or Google. We never see your card. We use RevenueCat to check what you bought, linked to your account ID.

Usage stats, no tracking

We use PostHog to count how the app is used: screens opened, receipts printed, the score band, purchases. These events are tied to your account ID. They never include your screenshot, the chat, your notes, labels, name or email. There are no ads and no tracking across other apps or websites.

redslip is for people 18 and over.

If you feel unsafe
